Our aim: Simple online applications - all across Germany

Do you want to live and work in Germany? Simply visit the Service Portal Migration Germany, the official website where you can apply online for residence permits and other services for foreign nationals if your city is connected to the system.

The service portal offers many helpful features that make it easier for you to submit and efficiently manage your applications online. The portal is your one-stop resource for all your needs. There’s no need to switch between different platforms or services.

What the Service Portal Migration Germany has to offer

The service portal is in the process of being set up. More features, online applications and cities will be added gradually. Currently, the following features are available:

The pilot cities

The service portal’s basic version offers two online application procedures – for naturalisation and the EU Blue Card. We have developed this functionality in close cooperation with two pilot cities to optimise the application process for you.

In cooperation with the Bonn foreigners authority, we have digitised the application process for naturalisation.

Potsdam

In cooperation with the migration office of Brandenburg´s state capital Potsdam, we have further developed the existing digital application process for the EU Blue Card.
